A house built for slow mornings and warm evenings.

A kitchen made for gathering.
A long stone island sits at the heart of the house, open to the garden on one side and the living space on the other. Mornings start here — coffee, fruit, the day taking shape.
Fully equipped for real cooking, with everything within reach and views that make even washing up feel unhurried.

Two rooms, both facing the sea.
Each bedroom is air-conditioned and ensuite, with the same wide views that drew you to the villa in the first place. Linen is soft, the beds are generous, and the light arrives early but gently.
Both rooms open toward the water — falling asleep and waking up to the same horizon.

Stone, light, and rain showers.
Natural materials throughout — stone basins, warm wood, and rain showers open to the morning air. Every detail was chosen to feel timeless rather than trend-driven.

Where the days are spent.
The infinity pool meets the horizon, and the terrace runs the length of the house — half in sun, half in shade. Teak loungers, an outdoor dining table, and views over the jungle canopy to the sea beyond.
Breakfast here, a swim before lunch, sundowners as the light turns gold — the terrace holds the whole rhythm of the day.
The essentials.
Everything you need, nothing you don’t.

At the heart of the island.
Villa Altura sits above Ban Tai, five minutes from Thong Sala pier — the island’s main port and hub. Close enough to reach every corner of Koh Phangan with ease, far enough to leave it all behind.
North beaches, full moon parties, jungle waterfalls, quiet bays — everything the island has to offer starts from here.
What makes a stay at Altura
Villa Altura was designed as a private residence, where every space invites you to slow down. Here’s what to know before you imagine your stay.
01Is the villa entirely private?
Yes. Villa Altura is an entirely private property, with no shared spaces. The house, the infinity pool, the terraces and the garden are exclusively yours — no immediate neighbours, no outside passage. From morning to night, you have the place to yourself.
02Is the villa isolated?
It feels like a world away, without ever being far from anything. From the terrace, the view drops over lush tropical vegetation, palm trees almost within reach, the sea unfolding beyond. Thong Sala — its restaurants, markets, and pier — is under ten minutes away. As everywhere on Koh Phangan, a scooter or car is how you explore the island: beaches, waterfalls and villages are all within thirty minutes.
03Who is the villa designed for?
Villa Altura welcomes up to four guests. It was designed for couples, families, or two couples of friends who value calm, privacy and comfort. Days here move at an easy pace — swimming, exploring, doing very little. If you’re looking for a villa to host parties or large groups, it’s probably not the right fit.
04What’s the spirit of a stay at Altura?
Altura isn’t just a place to sleep — it’s a place to slow down. After a day exploring Koh Phangan’s beaches, restaurants or trails, coming back to the quiet of the villa naturally becomes a moment of its own — a late-afternoon swim, the light softening over the terrace. Many guests end up staying longer than planned, simply for the pool and the view.
05Will we be looked after during our stay?
Yes. We welcome you personally at Thong Sala pier and take you to the villa ourselves. Throughout your stay, we stay easily reachable on WhatsApp — for a question, a good local address, or a hand getting around the island.
